Dry Creek Western Wear has been an integral part of the economy in Burwell, Nebraska over the last 25 years.  Over those 25 years they have prospered and adapted to the community needs and embraced environmental conservation through recycling cardboard and adding a Pollinator Garden to their landscape.

Twisted X, a brand Dry Creek carries, has now joined in the fight for environmental stewardship, conservation, and sustainability in a HUGE way.  The company has introduced a collection known as ECO TWX which uses #1 plastics to create the fibers used in many of their product creations.  Products that contain these plastic fibers are specifically labeled as ECO TWX and contain detailed product information to the consumer.  In addition Twisted X uses 100% recycled packaging on their products and with each ECO TWX product purchase they will plant a tree in the United States!  These trees will be planted through an organization known as OneTreePlanted, a non-profit based in Shelburne, Vermont.

Dry Creek Western Wear now excitedly offers some of the ECO TWX products produced by Twisted X.  The product line found at Dry Creek includes women and men’s shoes (13 plastic bottles goes into each pairs creation) and newly added backpacks!!  Customers who have purchased the shoes have expressed how amazing the quality and comfort are in addition to how neat it is to see a company using materials in a creative and useful way.  If you would like to check out the products please visit Dry Creek Western Wear in Burwell and get yourself a pair!
